StreamCue Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

StreamCue is an app for tracking TV shows and films — what's airing, where it streams, and whether it's free. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it.

The short version

StreamCue has no servers of its own, no user accounts, and no analytics or advertising. Your list stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. Nothing about you or your list is sent to us, because there is no "us" to send it to — the app has no backend at all.

What's stored, and where

Third-party data sources

StreamCue looks up show, film, and rating information from two public catalog services:

These lookups send only the title or ID you're searching for — nothing that identifies you personally, and nothing about the rest of your list. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Reminders and notifications

If you turn on air-date alerts, they're scheduled locally on your device through Apple's notification system. If you use the Reminders integration, StreamCue writes reminders directly into your own Reminders app, with your permission — both stay entirely on-device and within your own Apple account.

What StreamCue does not do

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes — for example, if a future version adds a service that does collect data — this page will be updated first, and the date at the top will reflect it.
